Affiliate marketers are always looking for the formula which they think will bring in all the money and the profits. 1) If you are selling more than one product, use different web pages for each product. If you put all of them together, you will not be able to focus on any one and it will be confusing for the customer.

The website for the products should carry all relevant information. This includes articles about the products. Through articles, you can explain the product features and specifications. Testimonials are another way of attracting customers. Use testimonials only with the consent of the particular customers.

If there could be confusion on how to use the product, include the manual and uses on separate web pages so that the customer is convinced about the product. Give your contact details, especially number, on all pages so that the customer does not have to search for the details.

2) Make a box or section where the visitor can write some of his personal details such as name and email id and ask whether they would be interested in receiving further information about similar products and services. This is a good way to create a list of people to whom you can send newsletters and campaign articles in the future. This is a good way to make them aware of your products from time to time. With so many websites offering similar products, once the visitors leave the page, the chances that they will come back is rather less.

However, do this in moderation. Remember not to flood them with information so much that they are annoyed. At the same time, make sure that the content you are sending will make a definite impact. Write about how your product can make their lives easier. ‘Free’ is not a good word to use as spam filters may catch it.

3) It is important that you get traffic which needs your product. This is targeted traffic. This kind of traffic increases your sales possibilities. Else, they will see the website and just move on as they don’t want your product. For this, increase your exposure on forums, e-zine and other directories so that people know what you are offering.

Write articles for article sites such as e-zine. At least 2 articles a week, each of not more than 600 words will greatly increase the traffic to your page. These articles are usually read by people who want the products you are offering.

Even in the targeted traffic, only a small percentage will buy your product. So, it is important to increase the targeted traffic first.
